A founding Anagenix director, Chris is an experienced investor and advisor who has assisted a number of New Zealand businesses to successfully export premium gourmet foods to the USA and UK. His background also includes two decades as managing director of Prism Software, a New Zealand technology company that grew to become the world's second-largest management information system for the printing and graphic arts industry.
Executive Director, Biogenix
Wayne has held many senior management and strategy positions within New Zealand public and private sector organisations and currently holds a number of trusteeships and directorships. He specialises in systems thinking and has authored 30 business case studies on Maori organisations, as well as a report on key Maori business characteristics. In 2007 he received the Dame Mira Szaszy Maori Business Alumni Award from the University of Auckland Business School. Group legal officer
Jane is a registered New Zealand and Australian patent attorney and lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in intellectual property and related legal matters. She also has a PhD in organic chemistry. Jane has been working with Anagenix since March 2014 and is responsible for the company’s legal and intellectual property activities.

Prior to joining Anagenix, Tim spent 6 years with Industrial Research Limited (IRL) and Callaghan Innovation where
he managed the PreSeed portfolio and commercialisation of internal IP. Before that, Tim spent 20 years in the pharmaceutical
industry in various positions, including R&D, corporate business development and latterly general management
positions, in the UK, New Zealand, China and Canada. During his time in R&D he led multidisciplinary teams
to develop a wide range of pharmaceutical and biological products to launch in global markets. Tim is a veterinarian
by training (Cambridge, 1986), and spent 2½ years in general practice in the UK before joining the industry.
Marketing director, Asia
Elizabeth has been working in the global marketing and business development arena since 1998 and has valuable hands-on experience with brand management, CRM and shopper marketing. She has a proven record of delivering results across the different geographies and cultures of Asia, including Thailand, China, India and the Mekong. In recent years, Elizabeth has developed a passion for health and wellness and is pursuing more knowledge in this field.
Product Development Researcher
Alice graduated with a Master of Science degree in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Waikato. Her previous experiences include roles in R&D and business development in the beverage and high-tech industries. Alice has a background in bioactive natural products and is passionate about science and innovation.
Before joining Anagenix, Ian was a research engineer in the process engineering team of Callaghan Innovation (New Zealand’s Innovation Agency). He has a variety of experiences from roles based in a range of commercial and research entities based on the New Zealand primary sector. He has a PhD in Bio-medical Engineering and completed a Bachelors and Masters degree in Bio-process Engineering at Massey University. In recent years, Ian has developed a keen interest for commercialisation and entrepreneurship. He currently oversees the manufacturing and supply chain of Anagenix.
QA/QC and Logistics Coordinator
Mila completed her BSc in Chemistry degree in Manila. She joined IRL soon after she immigrated to New Zealand and spent over ten years working in their research lab. She moved on to work in commercial laboratories in the fields of pharmaceutical, analytical and environmental chemistry. She has gained valuable experience working on the aspects of quality management, instrumentation, method development and validation.”
Joanna has worked in a variety of roles throughout New Zealand and Australia. Her portfolio of clients has ranged from Qantas to Trilogy Natural Skincare and Crop and Food Research (now Plant and Food Research). She has gained valuable experience working on brand identity development, packaging, point of sale design, coordinating national campaigns and corporate communications. Joanna has a Bachelor of Design majoring in visual communication.
