Peter Fennessy, Chair
Peter is one of the biotech brains behind AbacusBio, an Australasian market leader in agribusiness consulting and associated new business development. Internationally recognised for its scientific expertise in agricultural technology and biotechnology, the firm is backed by specialised economic modelling, financial analysis and business management capabilities. As a business consultant, Peter works with clients to develop business strategy, business investment and intellectual property strategy. He also assists with evaluation and valuation of technologies within the agri-bio, biotechnology and agri-tech areas. Peter is an ex-Chairman of NZBio, New Zealand’s industry body in the biotechnology sector.
A founding Anagenix director, Chris is an experienced investor and advisor who has assisted a number of New Zealand businesses to successfully export premium gourmet foods to the USA and UK. His background also includes two decades as managing director of Prism Software, a New Zealand technology company that grew to become the world's second-largest management information system for the printing and graphic arts industry.
Wayne has held many senior management and strategy positions within New Zealand public and private sector organisations and currently holds a number of trusteeships and directorships. He specialises in systems thinking and has authored 30 business case studies on Maori organisations, as well as a report on key Maori business characteristics. In 2007 he received the Dame Mira Szaszy Maori Business Alumni Award from the University of Auckland Business School.
